Bharat poster: Salman Khan introduces us to his ‘Madam Sir’ Katrina Kaif in vintage styleBharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously worked with Salman in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai After a grey and young avatar, Salman Khan has come to entertain us in the middle-aged character in the poster of Bharat. The speciality about this new poster is the introduction of Katrina Kaif, whom Salman calls ‘Madam Sir. The 53-year-old actor shared the new poster on his social media account and captioned it, “Aur phir humare zindagi mein aayi ‘Madam Sir’? @katrinakaif #BharatKaJunoon”
Looking at the poster, it definitely looks the entry of Katrina will change the world of Salman Khan in the film. The Dabangg star is seen in worker uniform with a headlight helmet, which shows that he is working in the construction site or a coal mine in 1970.
Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra was on board to play Katrina’s character in Bharat but she walked out of the project in the last minute and Kat grabbed the opportunity. Talking about this, Katrina told Midday, “I read the script from start to finish in three hours and immediately called him to tell him that I loved it. I realized there was an opportunity of going the extra mile with this character. So, it had nothing to do with my friendship with Salman or Ali. In fact, Salman did not even call me after I signed the film. We met directly on the set.”
Talking about Bharat, it is an official adaption of a Korean film, An Ode To My Father. The movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi in lead roles. Bharat will feature Khan sporting five different looks. Surprisingly, all of his five looks were unveiled in the teaser of the film itself. The trailer of Bharat is set to release on April 24. Produced by Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar, the movie releases on Eid (June 5).
Apart from Bharat, Salman Khan will be seen in Prabhudheva’s Dabangg 3. Also starring Kichcha Sudeep and Sonakshi Sinha, the commercial actioner is set to hit the screens in December.
