Priyanka Chopra Chooses a Less Dramatic Roberto Cavalli Gown For Her Debut Appearance at Cannes 2019 Red Carpet Priyanka Chopra made her debut at the red carpet of Cannes International Film Festival 2019. She wore a black Roberto Cavalli Couture gown and styled it with big Chopard earrings. Actor Priyanka Chopra finally made her red carpet debut at the Cannes International Film Festival 2019. The actor represented luxury jewellery brand Chopard at the prestigious event and looked breathtaking in her look. Priyanka wore a studded ombre black and violet Roberto Cavalli gown, the one that featured thigh-high slit and a long train. While the gown had nothing in terms of novelty, she did own that look. A pair of statement Chopard earrings, dramatic eye makeup, wavy retro-styled hair and a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps finished her debut look at Cannes 2019.
Earlier this month, she made the heads turn in her OTT look at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Gala 2019. She walked the pink carpet of the fundraiser with her husband Nick Jonas and dressed up as per the theme which was Camp: Notes on Fashion. Priyanka dolled up in a custom-made Dior Haute Couture sheer gown. She styled her feathered skirt and a cage bodice with a sky-high crystal crown, white eyebrows and earrings from Chopard. Priyanka worked every bit of that look.
After that fictional look at Met Gala 2019, PC’s appearance at Cannes 2019 remained quite subtle. The global star played safe in terms of style and went with what she is known for – dusky makeup and bold lips – the way she likes. While some may find this black gown-look a bit underwhelming, there’s no denying that Priyanka seemed to bring a bit of simplicity at the event where most stars try to go over the board with their fashion choices.
The other Indian beauties who attended the event this year were Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Hina Khan. All the three women looked gorgeous in their respective outfits at the red carpet. Kangana gave a twist to her Falguni And Shane Peacock-designed saree by wearing it with a corset blouse and a pair of evening glove. Deepika went all out with a sweeping train and giant bow detail on her black-white Dundas gown. For Hina’s stunning debut appearance at Cannes 2019, it was a Ziad Nakad gown that had stone detailing and giant arm train.
