Salman Khan’s Bharat or ICC World Cup 2019 What would Indians prefer to watch?

Salman Khan’s Bharat or ICC World Cup 2019: What would Indians prefer to watch? Bharat marks the third collaboration between director Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai The megastar of Bollywood, Salman Khan is all set to return to the silver screen after one year with Bharat. Right from the BTS pictures and videos to the latest posters, everything related to Bharat is doing wonders on social media. Like every year, this time too Salman will give an Eid treat to his fans in the form of Bharat and we are sure that the period drama will rewrite all the box office records in the history of cinema. However, as per our analysis and observation, Bharat will not emerge as Salman Khan’s opener and we have a valid reason for that.

If you are a cricket fan, then you must be excited for the upcoming cricket world cup, which is set to happen in England and Wales. Salman’s Bharat is scheduled to hit the screens on June 5 and on the same date, we have India’s first match in the world cup and that too against the competitive team of South Africa. The match will start at 3 in the afternoon and will definitely go on untill midnight, which means maximum people will watch the cricket battle instead of Bharat and that will definitely affect its opening day collections.

Apart from its opening day, the film will again face competition on Sunday i.e. June 9 as India will take on Australia, which will again garner maximum viewership. In India, we say, Bollywood and Cricket are two religions, which is followed by everyone. But it will be interesting to see whether Salman fans will make the theatres housefull or will cheer for India in the matches.

Talking about Bharat, the film is the official remake of a Korean film An Ode To My Father. It also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi in key. It marks the third collaboration between director Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. It is produced by Salman Khan, Atul Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Krishan Kumar. The trailer of the film will be released on April 24.
